THE BLOG
This is a betting blog. It's going to document all the bets i make with G. And we make a lot.

THE BETS
Okay, so there are a lot of bets. We have card-games bets. Long term bets. One-shot bets. Short term bets. Serious bets. Public bets.

The most we have are one-shot bets where we bet on the most mundane stuff. For example, how many pearls are there in this cup of milk bubble tea? We've climbed this staircase a million times, how many stairs are there? Are there more couples or groupies watching movies today?

Mmm, public bets are controversial because all these while, we don't know how to find out what's the general thinking! Hopefully, i can get a poll to start making results for our bets official. Bets falling under this category are... What's the most popular Halloween costume? How many times does the average couple kiss a day?

Then we have card-game bets. We're a unique couple okay. Whenever we're bored, card games are the way to go. Blackjack, Gin Rummy, Bridge, Ngao, Casino Wars, Texas hold'em, 8 cards poker... basically whatever there is, we play'em. And if there's a game we don't know, we'd love to learn. This is the only monetary bet.

I think we can conclude by now that we're pretty darn serious about our bets -__-

FRIENDLY BETS
All bets are friendly. We might sulk hell lot when we lose or argue incessantly about why we’re right but at the end of the day there’ll always be the small voice saying ‘you win la’. We've never argued over any of these silly bets (not fan-toi/tumpang table angry at least) and the most physical we’d ever gotten to over a bet is tackle each other with belly tickling.

THE BETTING SYSTEM
Yeah, so we've gotten overboard when we first started out betting. Money was passed to and fro too damn many times. And we lost our heads counting the 'I-owe-yous'. So we had to switch to this 'point/redeem' system. That didn't work out too well (uhm i lost the paper in between all these end-of-summer moves). So nowwww, with this blog, i'm going to religiously keep track of my winnings the score.

How it's gonna work - each bets comes with points (normally 10 pts per bet). By the end of each month, we'll just total up the points. Winner gets to kick loser's butt and order him to wash dishes/do laundry/clean the room.

Ahah no la! Winner gets a nice meal out :)

TRUST
Our trust in each other is absolute. We will never lie/cheat in order to win a bet. Like in our pearls milk bubble tea bet, we'd counted the pearls in our own mouths and added both our numbers up!

THE COUPLE
We're both 22 year old law students.

We're high school sweehearts who have been dating for 3+ years and counting :)

THE ISSUES
As much as we love gambling, betting and all these nasty little sins, we love our money A LOT and hate to see it go to another's hands. We don't mind a casual game of mahjong or gin rummy between friends but going to a casino? Not our style.

So don't suggest therapists ok we're as honest and responsible as gamblers get!
