Bet #15 - G's guide to a free meal

Yesterday G asked me to give him 10 points if, by merely using his persuasion skills without any bribery attempts, he could make RJ (his bff slash backup plan if i dump him wtf) buy him a free meal.

I took the bet, but laid down a 15 minutes time period. He can start whenever he wants but RJ needs to consent by 15 minutes.

And I wasn't allowed to talk :#

And we were not supposed to mention it until RJ hands over the money without kicking and screaming.


I expected G to start towards the end, but he started before we even ordered.

I think the conversation went like this:

G : Rj, buy me this meal
RJ : Why? You want to order set meal? The most expensive items?
G : No!!!
*G calmly waits for everyone to order. 7 minutes gone.
G : So, you want to buy me this meal?
*silence
RJ : hmm.... ok
G : ok thanks

WHOAAAAA WAITAMINUTE *cue tyres screeching

Why why why why i wanted to burst out of my seat, climb on top on the table, grab Rj's collar, wringing him yelling 'whyyyyyyyy wouldddddd youuuuuuuu buyyy this conman a meal for NOTHING?'

This is 3rd bet Rj is involved in. And so far my track record is 0/3.

He's a jinx.
