No bets this month!
Because im irritatingly lacking a sense of permanence. My laptop doesn't even have a space in my own room. It's either on the floor, balanced on my lap or on the bed somewhere. You see, i'm at the packing stage right now.
It's a bit more complicated than that. I'm packing half my room now. The day after tomorrow i'll be bouncing off to london for almost a week. Then it's back up to Manc with the parents and sisters for my graduation! After graduation, i need to tie the bow of ALL my boxes and ship them to my new flat. Four days after my graduation, i'll be flying back home, home, home.
G and I miss Malaysia SO.DAMN.MUCH.
I wanted to skip my graduation just so that i could fly back earlier but alas my parents booked their plane tickets here before i did anything foolish (according to them). Blehhh.
So due to the chaotic schedule we won't have a betting month, although we still have many mini bets all the way.
Yesterday over coffee RJ, Kenny, G and I made summer resolutions together.
1. Exercise!
There are two parts to this bet. First, we decided to pack our holiday with exercises! Each week, we shall meet up for gym, badminton (or other sports), swimming and jogging sessions.
And because it's us, there's money involved. Each missed session results in a FINE. A friggin fine! RM5 if you attend less than 2 sessions a week.
Then there's the individual results part. For G and RJ, their summer exercise resolution is to GET BUFF. For Kenny and I, we're gonna lose weight! I forgot what the loser has to do for this oops.
2. Try new places to eat!
WHAT A CONTRADICTION. Lose weight and eat more! Lol. Malaysia is a food heaven and we haven't been appreciating it to its full potential. So we're going to discover new restaurants! Our target is to try 15 new restaurants by the end of summer :D
3. Individual resolutions
For G, it's to improve his geography. He wants to know all the countries and its capital by heart by the end of summer.
For me, it's to finish one painting! I haven't finish a proper painting since college :( I lack commitment sigh.
(Kenny and RJ's shall remain undisclosed)
The loser has to buy everyone a meal if he/she doesn't achieve his goal hahaha.
That's it :) What a productive summer it'll be if we do achieve it :D

Michelle, I think this summer bet thingy is an awesome summer. My summers are always unproductive, or that I never finish up whatever summer project I started on! Have fun with your parents! I will be dropping by on Monday so hopefully I will be able to see youuuu!
