Gary's doesn't listen to music current music.

Whenever he's in the car, he listens to the cds I burned for him (repeatedly, yes). There was one episode when he conceded to normality and was extremely faithful to hitz.fm but that was only because he was addicted to Akon's 'Angel' and hitz played it very often. Needless to say, when hitz stopped playing it he stopped listening to radios altogether.

But it's actually adorable how he is so lost in popular culture.

Just the other day I played Rihanna's 'Rude Boy' and asked him to guess the singer. He listened for a moment and said, 'Ah, such a weird voice! It must be Lady Gaga, Kesha or Katy Perry!!'

The most amazing thing about what he said is that he knows all three of those singers in the first place.

Funny tidbits:

• One of his guesses was 'Pink - We could have it all' and this was when he heard 'Adele - Rolling in the Deep' (at 2.18 of the clip)
• #7 and #8 were his random guesses! Damnit. 
• When we were playing charades in Camerons, we gave him the word 'Beyonce' to act. To my complete surprise: 1) He'd immediately made the 'put a ring on it' action (he knows the song!); 2) The guys guessed it!!!!; and 3) His backup plan was to point to the left because her 'Irreplaceable' song starts with 'to the left, to the left' (this would have failed big time, but still!) So proud of you babe hahahahahaa.
